A drunken Florida man was arrested for his alleged involvement in an altercation at Walt Disney World that broke out after he reportedly made fun of a woman with Down Syndrome.

On January 25, a 62-year-old man was with his wife and a group of friends at the Belle Vue Lounge in The Boardwalk Resort at Disney World. It was reported that he was drinking bourbon and beer, and it was believed that he was intoxicated. At a table nearby, another group of patrons, one of whom was in a wheelchair, were enjoying their time in the establishment when the man reportedly went up to their table.

The girl in the wheelchair has Down Syndrome, and some of her family members were sitting with her. They reported that the man approached them and started making noises. It was believed that the man was mocking her, and the situation intensified when her mother asked him if that was his intention.

A Florida DoorDasher was arrested after allegedly getting into an argument with a fast-food restaurant worker and threatening her life while wielding a crowbar.

On the afternoon of February 11, a man visited a McDonald’s in North Fort Meyers to pick up a DoorDash order. When he entered the restaurant, the man allegedly shoved his cell phone in the face of one of the employees. The woman became upset by his alleged action, and an argument broke out. As a result of the situation, the man was asked to depart from the restaurant.

According to reports, the man walked out of the establishment and went to his car, where he grabbed a crowbar and headed back to the restaurant. He reportedly walked up to the worker and threatened her.

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly physically injuring a person over the age of 65 during an altercation about drinking water.

Recently, some areas of Florida have been put on boil notice status, meaning that they were instructed that it would be safest to boil their water before drinking it or to drink bottled water instead.

On the afternoon of October 23, someone from Clay Electric was working in Silver Springs near the site of a 38-year-old woman who was reportedly yelling at a woman over the age of 65. The electric company employee thought they saw things start to get physical between the women, and they notified the authorities.

A Michigan woman is facing charges for allegedly shoving a child off a pool toy and calling him names last weekend at a water park.

On the afternoon of July 27, a woman visiting the Cedar Point Shores Waterpark in Sandusky was near the kids’ pool when she reportedly had a negative interaction with a child in front of other guests.

According to reports, the woman knocked a child off a pool toy and spoke inappropriately to the boy by calling him “fat ass” and “a brat.” When his mother became aware of the incident, she got angry and told the woman she owed her son an apology.

An airplane passenger was reportedly so put off by the way he was offered the meal service that he allegedly physically assaulted flight crew members and tried to get inside the cockpit to discuss the issue with the captain. 

Late in the afternoon on March 8, a businessman was traveling from Grantley Adams International in Barbados to Miami International Airport in Florida on an American Airlines flight. He was taking a trip to visit his son. 

A couple of hours into the flight, the attendants began meal service. When one of the crew members read the menu to the man, the traveler reportedly felt he was not treated the way he should have been when he was given the food options.

A Florida corrections officer who works for the Osceola County Corrections Department was arrested and charged after an alleged domestic violence incident. 

On December 12, a 35-year-old corrections officer was at a residence with a woman, and things reportedly got intense between them. 

The man, who has worked for Osceola County for approximately 6 years, reportedly got into an altercation with the woman, and he allegedly became physically violent.

A pregnant woman riding a bus in Philadelphia was reportedly assaulted by a man without permanent housing after she denied his request for her seat. 

Just after 1:30 AM on March 13, a man boarded a crowded Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) bus in Philadelphia. 

The man was unable to find a place to sit, and he reportedly approached a woman that was in one of the seats.

A woman who reportedly blamed her neighbors for the leaves on her lawn allegedly approached them and got into a physical altercation, during which two of them were stabbed. 

66-year-old Kyong Moulton resides in Palm Bay. She lives across the street from an 87-year-old woman.

Moulton was away from her residence in the afternoon on January 6.

When two men, one of whom is partially disabled, reportedly got into a verbal argument about which sports teams they each preferred, the situation allegedly escalated to a physical level.

59-year-old Jeffrey Randall, a purported fan of sports, used to live in Massachusetts, and now resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Around 8:30 pm on December 12, Randall was spending time with a friend that he had invited to his home.

Three employees of an assisted living and memory care facility have been accused of abusing elderly patients and encouraging them to fight each other in what was purported as a source of their entertainment.

A relative of a resident of the Danby House in Winston-Salem, NC, got in touch with the Winston-Salem Police Department to report that they believed their loved one and at least one other person was being mistreated by the staff. Both of the women who were reportedly being subjected to the abuse live with dementia and exceed the age of 70.

The state Department of Health and Human Services worked with the police department in a combined effort to try to learn the details behind the allegations.
