12-Year-Old Used as Bait to Catch Elderly Molester

When a preteen informed the authorities that she had been sexually assaulted by a man that repeatedly followed her home from her school bus stop they apprehended the suspect by using her to help catch him in the act.

A 12-year-old girl from Largo who takes the bus to a stop near her residence each afternoon recently reported that an older and man had been present and seemingly waiting for her every day for over a month. The girl alleged that the man, with whom she was not acquainted, would then follow her between the stop and her home while reportedly pestered her during the trek.

On Thursday, when the girl reached her stop and disembarked the bus, the stranger was reportedly waiting once again to trail her without invitation. Before she made it to her home the girl reported that the suspect grabbed ahold of her, grabbed her bust, and tried to plant a kiss on her.

When the man began to depart the young girl grabbed her phone and recorded a video of him so that she could offer it to the authorities when they were informed of the events.

The police received a report of the alleged events with the accompanying footage from the child on Friday, and they decided to set up at the bus stop and lie in wait in an attempt to catch the alleged assailant.

As the youngster got off the bus a man who appeared to look like the person in the video was already there. The team of police reported that they saw him begin to travel in the direction of the child and they approached and identified him as 72-year-old Abdulla Ndregjoni.

Ndregjoni was placed under arrest and jailed on suspicion of felony lewd and lascivious molestation, and felony aggravated stalking of a child under the age of 16.

While speaking with the authorities Ndregjoni was reported as confirming his attraction to the girl and allegedly corroborated some of the claims made by the minor.
