Attacker Infected 3-Year-Old Rape Victim With STDs

A toddler who was allegedly defiled by a man that she was left in the care of reportedly contracted two STD’s from the sexual assault.

26-year-old Drevon Alexander Perkins was reportedly taking care of a 3-year-old family member in his apartment while her mother was at work.

Shortly after Perkins babysat, the child’s mother noticed that her daughter’s diapers were showing abnormal fluid on them and she took the youngster to the hospital. The doctors spoke with the girl’s mother after examining the toddler and issued diagnoses of gonorrhea and chlamydia.

When the authorities began to probe for details of how the youngster became afflicted with the sexually transmitted infections they learned that the child had recently been left at Perkins’ residence for care.

Perkins, who allegedly has both gonorrhea and chlamydia, was detained and questioned. In the midst of taking a lie detector test, Perkins reportedly disclosed that he had been using drugs while he was watching the alleged victim, and he did rape the child.

Perkins was arrested and booked into the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bond, and he was charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child under 6 years old.

If Perkins is convicted, he could face a sentence of at least a quarter of a century behind bars.
