Nude Man Had Extended Visit at Taco Bell Drive-Thru

When a man was apprehended for reportedly getting food in the nude at a Taco Bell drive-thru, he allegedly insisted that he believed it was legal to drive without clothing.

In the evening on August 28, the driver of a gold pickup truck arrived at a Taco Bell in Oklahoma City, and after ordering his items he proceeded to the payment window in the typical fashion.

When he reached the employee stationed at the drive-thru window, the worker reported that the man was naked, and did not make any effort to cover himself.

The 41-year-old female employee agreed to take the man’s payment, and after handing him the food she said he requested a taco on top of the food he had already received.

The woman asked a coworker to deal with the reportedly naked patron, and after the taco was prepared and paid for, the man asked for extra taco sauce packets and napkins.

After the driver left the establishment, he reportedly immediately turned around and came back to ask for more taco sauce at the drive-thru.

When the police arrived after being hailed by the employees, the suspect was reportedly still on-site and naked.

The man, identified as 61-year-old Christopher Sale, was asked by the officer to get out of his truck.

Though he reportedly said he did not feel comfortable doing so, Sale was ordered to follow through, but he was permitted to cover himself with a towel found inside his vehicle.

The authorities reported that Sale said all of his clothing was being washed at the time, and he had gotten hungry. He additionally allegedly asserted that he did not know it was illegal to operate a vehicle in the nude, and claimed that he had the towel on his lap while at the restaurant.

Sale was incarcerated in the county jail, and he is facing charges for suspicion of felony indecent exposure.

He was released from custody the following day on a $2,000 bond.
