Sex Assault of 6-Year-Old in Front of Younger Child Caught on Video

A woman in Clifton has been accused of recording herself while sexually abusing a 6-year-old, with a 5-year-old watching as it took place.

18-year-old Mourissa McCarthy resides in Clifton, New Jersey.

On November 27, the authorities were informed that a 6-year-old child had allegedly been abused sexually by McCarthy while a 5-year-old was in the same room and viewing.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit opened an investigation, and they collected witness statements and a video of the act that had purportedly been recorded by the suspect.

The authorities asserted that McCarthy had been inside a local home with the children when she allegedly made the film of herself engaging in sexual acts with the 6-year-old. The 5-year-old is also reportedly seen in the recording as he watched the alleged assault.

Later on Saturday, the authorities tracked down McCarthy and took her into custody for the allegations.

Her relationship with the children involved in the alleged incident has not been disclosed to the public at this time.

The Passaic County Prosecutors Office disclosed that they are charging McCarthy with one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, one count of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, one count of second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. They also intend to file a motion asking the judge that she be held without bail, at least until her pretrial.

Due to the severity of the alleged crimes, if McCarthy is found guilty of all charges, she could spend the rest of her life behind bars.

According to records, as of today, McCarthy is still incarcerated.
