Boyfriend’s Brutal Attack Put Woman and Baby in ICU

A mother and her 1-year-old were admitted to intensive care with near-fatal injuries reportedly caused by the child’s father when he allegedly viciously attacked them.

29-year-old Pierre Gabriel Francois and his 22-year-old girlfriend Aliza Walker have been together for approximately 4-years. The couple has a 1-year-old daughter named Leianna.

On December 12, Francois, who is diagnosed with schizophrenia, was in his family home with his girlfriend and child. Francois’ mother was at the residence as well.

His mother was asleep, and she said that she was startled awake when she heard Francois hitting walls in the residence.

When his mom asked him to stop banging, it was reported that Francois did not recognize her. He allegedly grabbed a piece of wood and hit her with it while asking what had been done to his mother.

With his mother on the floor and reportedly in a puddle of blood, Francois allegedly ordered her to stay where she was while he left the room.

Walker was reportedly holding the child in a different room when Francois walked in. He allegedly grabbed the baby and bit her nose off before throwing her out of a window onto the ground outside.

His mother was able to leave the home and call the authorities, but Francois allegedly grabbed a knife and started stabbing his girlfriend. The woman reportedly had her throat and face sliced, and she was stabbed in the eyes, leaving her permanently sightless.

Before the police arrived, Francois left the premises. His girlfriend and child were lying on the front lawn of the home with severe injuries.

The mother and her child were rushed to Broward Medical Center, and the doctors reported that the baby had suffered from a traumatic head injury. The medical staff also reported that Walker was so badly injured that she may not survive.

Francois was taken into custody, and after being checked at the hospital, he was booked and charged for suspicion of three counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held on a $550,000 bail.

Walker’s grandfather, who reported to news outlets that his great-granddaughter seems as if she is making improvements daily, but she is still in the ICU. Aliza, who will likely never have eyesight again, is still in critical condition at the Fort Lauderdale hospital.
