Deputies responded after receiving a report of a shooting, but were informed that the alleged victims had already fled the property and gone to a nearby store for help. When deputies arrived, they located an 18-year-old man suffering from injuries to his back that were reportedly consistent with birdshot wounds.

According to court documents, the teenager’s mother told investigators that her father had shot her son following a dispute connected to a household chore involving a fish house. Family members reportedly told investigators that the older man had become upset because the teenager had not stored the structure properly.

A Kentucky man was arrested after authorities said he allegedly attacked two people with a baseball bat during an argument when they disconnected his Wi-Fi access.

According to the authorities, deputies responded to a reported assault at an apartment early Sunday morning after a man called 911 and said he and his girlfriend had been attacked. The caller reportedly told dispatchers that the suspect struck both victims with a baseball bat before he was able to escape and contact emergency services.

When deputies arrived at the residence, they reportedly found a woman outside suffering from a head injury, and she was bleeding. She allegedly told deputies that the suspect attacked her with the bat before going back inside the apartment.

A 22-year-old New York man was reportedly arrested after he allegedly approached state troopers in Malta and stated that he had just stabbed someone.

Authorities stated that the incident unfolded Sunday night near a shopping center in Malta, New York. A state trooper was reportedly finishing an unrelated traffic stop when the man allegedly ran up and made the statement. The trooper immediately detained him while other law enforcement officers were notified.

Deputies with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office were then dispatched to a nearby Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Malta after receiving information about a possible stabbing. When the deputies arrived at the location, they reportedly found a 34-year-old employee suffering from stab wounds to his chest and arm. The authorities stated that deputies gave aid to the alleged victim at the scene until emergency medical personnel arrived. He was then transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to court documents, the incident happened last weekend inside a residence. A woman and her fiancé were reportedly arguing while boxing up belongings when the disagreement allegedly turned physical. Investigators reported that the woman grabbed a knife measuring roughly eight to ten inches, which had been stored in the kitchen area.

Police allege she stabbed her fiancé in the chest. The man reportedly collapsed and told her he was bleeding badly and needed immediate medical help. Instead of calling for assistance, the woman allegedly drove him toward the hospital.

An officer was reportedly nearly shot in the head by a suspect when responding to an alleged theft at a Walmart store in Stark County.

The incident unfolded on December 15, after store employees at a Walmart in Canton reported two individuals suspected of stealing merchandise. Police responded and detained both suspects inside a store security office while the situation was sorted out. During the initial interaction, one of the suspects was patted down by an officer and asked whether he was carrying any weapons. He reportedly said he was not.

While both suspects were in the security room, the situation reportedly took a dangerous turn. According to investigators and body-worn camera footage later released, the male suspect, age 21, reached into a bag when no one was paying attention and retrieved a handgun. He allegedly aimed the weapon directly at the officer’s head and attempted to fire. The gun did not discharge due to a malfunction.

A Florida woman may face a serious felony charge after the authorities determined she attempted to kill her alleged romantic rival by reportedly shooting her in the backside.

Infidelity often causes different types of harm to the individuals involved, and on September 20 in Miami Gardens, it was the reported cause of a violent altercation between two women. According to reports, the person who would become the alleged victim spotted her boyfriend’s car near the residence of a woman she believed he was cheating on her with. She decided to confront him, and when she went to the door, she became aggressive with the woman. Ultimately, her boyfriend refused to come out of the bedroom, so she left.

As she walked back to her car, she was struck from behind by two bullets. One hit her in the buttocks, and the other in a spot near her back. The authorities and a fire rescue unit went to the area, and the alleged victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

An allegedly ongoing tense relationship between two Florida roommates reportedly escalated into violence and an attempted murder charge over discarded alcohol.

The two men involved in the incident had lived together on and off for seven years and reportedly had frequent arguments. Recently, a situation occurred when one roommate went through the other’s trash and took a vodka bottle, believing it could be used to get the landlord involved. The man reportedly became angry by the intrusive act, and the situation escalated. It was reported that a couple of days before the incident, the two had also argued, and the suspect allegedly threatened to kill his roommate. The alleged victim went to stay at a friend’s house to try to calm things down.

On the morning of the alleged attack, the suspect reportedly woke his roommate under the pretense of needing a ride to the hospital for a rib injury, which the authorities later believed was a false claim. With the man in the driver’s seat and the suspect in the passenger seat, the 61-year-old allegedly aimed a crossbow at his roommate. The alleged victim was struck in the ear by the arrow but was not seriously harmed. A struggle broke out, during which the roommate took the crossbow away from the suspect and hit him with it. The suspect was knocked to the ground.

A woman in Utah was arrested for causing mayhem at a gas station after she allegedly used an accelerant to set her boyfriend and his vehicle on fire.

On June 27, a 23-year-old woman and her boyfriend were in the man’s vehicle at a 7-Eleven gas station located in Midvale. They appeared to be having a verbal disagreement that allegedly turned violent. Others in the vicinity reportedly saw the woman spark what they believed was a lighter before the man got out with his clothing on fire. The car was also ignited. The woman reportedly left the scene immediately.

Officers from the Unified Police Department showed up to investigate, and they collected the video recorded from the surveillance camera and reviewed the footage to see what it captured. They reported that they saw what appeared to be a woman igniting a man’s clothing and vehicle after pouring something on them. As reported by witnesses, with his clothing and car ablaze, the man began running around until someone approached and put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.

A Florida man was hospitalized for several injuries after a group of teenagers reportedly attacked him because they believed he had bothered their autistic friend.

Late in the evening on May 5, a 35-year-old man from Mulberry was chatting with someone at a local car wash when four allegedly aggressive young men walked up to him. The girlfriend of one of the men recorded a video using her cell phone as they reportedly kicked and punched the man until he had a broken jaw, a broken nose, and cuts and swelling all over his body. According to reports, he was left unconscious.

When the man regained consciousness, he walked home, but did not initially want to call the police because he was on probation and had been drinking. His wife notified the authorities, and the alleged victim was admitted to intensive care at the hospital for his severe injuries. A few days later, a sheriff’s deputy talked to him about the incident, and he told them his attackers accused him of bothering their autistic friend.

A Florida woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly attempting to strike her ex-husband’s new girlfriend with her car after she spotted them walking across a highway together.

On April 10, a man and his girlfriend were heading to a party in Auburndale on foot when they crossed the street and stopped by a Circle K to pick up some supplies. When they had what they needed and walked back across the highway, the couple saw a Volkswagen Jetta speeding toward them, and the woman began running away to try to avoid being struck. The driver continued to pursue her and eventually ran into her with the vehicle. Afterward, the driver sped away, leaving the badly injured woman on the ground.

The authorities were called to the location, and deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and rescue workers from the fire department went to the address where the incident occurred. When they arrived, the woman was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. During their initial investigation, the authorities determined that the man’s ex-wife was the driver of the offending vehicle. It was reported that they believed she tried to run over her ex’s new partner because she saw the couple crossing the street when she was driving by, and she became jealous.
