Damien Wilson Arrested for Threatening to Kill Ex

The linebacker for the Carolina Panthers was arrested in Texas after his ex-girlfriend reported that he assaulted her and threatened her life.

28-year-old Damien Wilson is the current linebacker for the Carolina Panthers. He began his professional career after college with the Dallas Cowboys and went on to help the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl in 2019. He also spent a brief time playing for Jacksonville Jaguars.

In March 2020, Wilson began dating a woman. After some time, they ended the relationship, but they got back together in February.

It was reported that on April 15, Wilson’s girlfriend caught him having relations with someone else, and she broke up with him.

The woman went to Wilson’s home so that she could collect her personal items and then went back to her residence.

She and one of her friends arrived at her home, and the woman reported that Wilson was drunk and inside the dwelling.

The woman claimed that Wilson had damaged her patio and that he was gripping a tire iron. She said she became afraid for her life when he allegedly threatened her.

According to reports, the woman said that Wilson also choked her friend, and began slamming a blanket on the ground that had her laptop wrapped inside of it. She said that Wilson told her it was her cat.

The woman, who reported that she was shrieking at the top of her lungs, said that Wilson tried to run her over with his vehicle before he left.

She reported the incident to the police and obtained a protective order against Wilson.

Wilson was placed under arrest, and he may face charges of assault with bodily injury of a family member.

Wilson’s attorney stated that his client did not do what he has been accused of and they “look forward to all the facts coming out so his name can be cleared.”
