Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Accused of DUI

Nancy Pelosi’s husband was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol last weekend following a crash with another vehicle.

Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and her husband, 82-year-old Paul Pelosi, have been married since 1963. They have five children together.

Late in the evening on May 28, Mr. Pelosi was reportedly out driving a 2021 Porche in Napa County.

Around 10:30 PM, Pelosi’s Porche was reportedly struck by a Jeep. According to reports, the Jeep slammed into the Porche when Mr. Pelosi was trying to navigate his vehicle across the road lanes.

The authorities were notified about the two-vehicle crash, and officers with the California Highway Patrol went to the site of the accident.

When the police arrived, it was reported that they allowed the driver of the Jeep to leave the scene, and it does not appear that he is facing any charges for his involvement in the incident.

It was asserted that the accident was caused because Mr. Pelosi was driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Mr. Pelosi was taken into custody and booked into the Napa County Detention Center on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and misdemeanor driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher. He was released on $5,000 bail shortly after his arrest.

It was reported that no one sustained any injuries in the accident.

Speaker Pelosi was in Rhode Island at the time of her husband’s arrest. She was visiting the state so that she could give the Commencement Oration for the 2022 graduating class at Brown University.

The Pelosi family has not made any public statements regarding the incident, and Speaker Pelosi said that it was a private matter.
