Sex Offender Living Across from Park Neglected to Register

A registered sex offender who was reportedly found living across the street from a public park in Georgia is facing felony charges for allegedly failing to register his new address with the authorities.

34-year-old Brandon Scott Haradon resides in Marietta.

In the summer of 2015 in Santa Rosa, Florida, he was convicted of lewd or lascivious conduct with a victim under 16 years old committed by an offender 18 years or older.

Since he was released from prison, Haradon is required to keep his name and current address on the sex offender registry.

According to reports, Haradon has spent the last year living at Integrity Auto Solutions car repair shop. He is also employed at the business, which is located across the street from a public park, and a community pool where several families take their children.

Haradon made sure he complied with the order to put his name on the registry in 2021 when he was residing in DeKalb County, so he is currently listed. The man reportedly failed to let the authorities know that he had moved to Cobb County. He additionally allegedly did not provide them with his new physical address.

Recently, someone called the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office and reported that they believed Haradon was living at the auto repair shop.

The authorities investigated the situation, and they reported that when they inspected the shop it appeared as if Haradon was residing there.

Haradon was placed under arrest for allegations that he did not comply with his legal requirements. He was booked into the Cobb County Jail in lieu of a $5,720 bond. Haradon is expected to be charged with three felonies for the alleged infractions.
