Son with Huffing Habit Used Spatula to Beat Mom

A man from West Virginia has been accused of assaulting his mother with a spatula after getting high from huffing paint and he is facing charges for the allegations.

Police got word about an incident that was suspected to have resulted in someone sustaining injuries. They dispatched to the location to assess the situation and when they arrived they found a man sitting in front of the house.

The man, identified as 30-year-old Glenn Allen Casdorph, had what appeared to be silver paint on his hands and face, and he was allegedly holding a steel bar.

Upon entering the residence, the police found that the alleged victim was Casdorph’s mother Robin Casdorph. Robin reportedly had suffered from an injury to her head that she had wrapped with gauze, and she had blood on her clothing. She reported to the police that her son had hit her using a spatula.

Glenn Casdorph was taken into custody and booked into the South Central Virginia Regional Jail for suspicion of felony malicious assault, and he is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond. If he is convicted of the charges he could face a sentence of up to 10 years in jail.

Police reported that they were aware of Casdorph’s use of inhalants due to prior incidents involving his alleged huffing.
