11-Year-Old Found Ecstasy in Sonic Kids Meal

The manager and two other employees of a Sonic restaurant were taken into custody when a child allegedly found drugs in a kid’s meal that was purchased at the establishment.

A mother and father took their two children, ages 4 and 11, to the Sonic Drive-in Restaurant in Taylor, Texas, for dinner.

The older child was helping her brother open his kid’s meal when she reportedly saw something that she thought may have been candy. When she asked her parents what it was, they told her that the item, that reportedly resembled a pill, was not candy.

The mom and dad became concerned and brought the whole meal to the police, and after they tested the object the results allegedly displayed that it was an ecstasy tablet.

When officers dispatched to the restaurant to investigate the situation, the manager, 30-year-old Tanisha Dancer, was believed to have been a part of the incident. When the authorities discovered that Dancer had a warrant for her arrest for violating her parole she was detained.

While they were at the scene, the police additionally found that two of the other employees were in violation of the law. One of them was allegedly found with marijuana, and the other reportedly had four active warrants for his arrest.

Dancer was booked into the Williamson County Jail and she is being charged for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony delivery of a controlled substance, and felony endangering a child.
