Girlfriend Drove Car over Cheating Beau Two Times

A woman allegedly drove her vehicle over her boyfriend twice after she became convinced that he had been unfaithful.

38-year-old Jennifer Roncal Duharte and her boyfriend live together in Broward County, Florida.

Last Saturday, Duharte reported that she got her hands on her man’s cell phone and climbed into her vehicle to search through his message history. Duharte believed her man was cheating on her, and she was seeking evidence of the alleged dalliance.

Her boyfriend, who was riding a scooter, spotted Duharte in her vehicle with the phone when he pulled up to their residence.

As the man approached, Duharte allegedly began to accelerate, and she reportedly hit her boyfriend while he was on his scooter.

When the authorities went to the scene, the alleged victim said that after Duharte used her car to knock him off the scooter she backed up and struck him a second time. The man added that Duharte was the one that had been unfaithful, but, according to her boyfriend, Duharte was the one having an affair.

The alleged victim believed his back had been injured during the incident, and medical technicians administered treatment. When they told the man he should go to the hospital, he reportedly said he would not.

The police reported that a neighbor who allegedly saw the event as it took place spoke to them. The man reported that Duharte hit her boyfriend with her car, and when he was on the ground, she ran over him again.

Duharte reportedly said her boyfriend was blocking her car with his scooter when she hit him by accident.

Duharte was placed under arrest and booked into the Broward County Main Jail. She is facing charges for suspicion of domestic violence, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She was released from custody on a $10,000 bond.
