A Pennsylvania man who was arrested for allegedly masturbating in his vehicle while parked near a grocery store is also being investigated for his possible involvement in violent criminal activity.
Early in the morning on August 2, a home and two vehicles were damaged during a shooting that occurred in Ridley Township, but the police were still searching for the party or parties involved. A while later and a few blocks from the scene, a man was sitting in his parked vehicle in the parking lot at a Wawa store when an officer from the Ridley Township Police Department spotted the car. He reportedly became suspicious and went to see why the driver was hanging out there. According to reports, when he walked up to the vehicle, he saw more of the driver than he bargained for.
The driver reportedly had the seat reclined, and the officer believed the man was sexually pleasuring himself. When he looked around inside the car, the officer reportedly spotted a handgun, ammunition, and shell casings sitting out in the open, which led to additional problems for the man, who has a criminal record that disallows him from owning a firearm. The authorities purported that he could be the person who shot the gun earlier that morning.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the George Hill Correctional Facility. While he is currently facing a preliminary charge for indecent exposure and multiple gun-related crimes, the authorities announced that additional charges will be added if they collect evidence suggesting he was involved in the other criminal acts. According to records, at the time this was written, the man was still behind bars in lieu of a $1 million bond.
