A woman from Dunedin, Florida who works at a strip club as an exotic dancer allegedly kicked her manager in the groin with her platform stiletto-heeled shoe when he tried to send her home from work for drinking too heavily on the job.
35-year-old Lakiesha Ortiz works as an exotic entertainer at the Sinsations gentlemen’s club in Clearwater.
When Ortiz was at work on Saturday, her manager believed she had been drinking. He asserted that she imbibed so much alcohol that she had become intoxicated to the point that he felt she should leave the establishment for the duration of the night.
The manager approached Ortiz and informed her that she would have to end her shift early and leave the club due to her allegedly drunken state.
Upon hearing that she was being sent home, Ortiz allegedly became argumentative and grabbed beer bottles and drinking glasses from the bar, and proceeded to smash them on the ground.
The manager was assisted by club security, and when they tried to calm Ortiz, she allegedly kicked the manager in the crotch while she was still wearing her stiletto heels. She then reportedly proceeded to kick the man in the stomach.
The Clearwater Police responded to the incident, and a sergeant with the department was one of the law enforcement officers to arrive at the club just before 1:00 am.
According to the affidavit, while in view of the sergeant, Ortiz allegedly kicked the club manager with her spiked heel again.
Ortiz was placed under arrest and charged with misdemeanor simple battery, and disorderly conduct. She was held in the Pinellas County Jail in lieu of a $650 bond until later Sunday evening.
