Loud Boyfriend Beaten With Fake Christmas Tree

When a man was making too much noise while his girlfriend was trying to sleep, she reportedly responded to the excessive loudness by physically attacking him with pieces of a faux Christmas tree.

38-year-old Krystall Graham and her boyfriend of 8-years reside in Clearwater, Florida with two children, ages 8 and 2, one of which was fathered by Graham’s boyfriend.

On the morning of December 5, Graham was asleep while her boyfriend was awake and watching television. He reportedly had it turned up to a volume that was disturbing her slumber.

Graham reportedly emerged from the bed and approached her boyfriend angrily. She allegedly started to scream in his face and was then accused of losing the Christmas spirit by disassembling a fake tree and using three sections of it to assault the man.

The authorities arrived at the residence just before 7:00 am, and they used forcible entry to gain access to the dwelling.

The police walked into the home and reported that the two children were in the room as Graham and her boyfriend continued fighting.

It was noted that the alleged victim had injuries on his face, neck, and stomach, and Graham was placed under arrest as the purported aggressor of the incident.

According to the affidavit, Graham chose to waive her right to remain silent and allegedly told the police that she did use the pieces of the tree to assault her boyfriend after she screamed at him.

Graham, who reportedly does not have any priors, was taken to the county jail where she was booked for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. She was later released on her own recognizance.
