Two roommates were reportedly arrested in St. George, Utah, after the authorities executed a search warrant at their residence and allegedly discovered 19 firearms along with several types of suspected drugs.

According to reports, the investigation began at approximately 10 p.m. on March 4 when two officers who were on foot patrol and reportedly smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the backyard of a nearby home. The officers contacted the residents and asked for permission to search the property, but consent was allegedly denied. The authorities searched after obtaining a warrant.

Court documents stated that officers first located marijuana-related drug paraphernalia in the backyard, including items that had been placed inside a smoker grill. Some of the paraphernalia was reportedly claimed by another individual who was present at the residence.

Officers also reported finding suspected cocaine and pills in the room. Powder residue located on a spoon inside the closet reportedly tested positive for cocaine.

The authorities also located 11 firearms inside the closet of the second bedroom, bringing the total number of firearms recovered during the search to 19.

According to reports, one roommate was booked on 12 charges and the other on 15 charges. Both were later reportedly released from jail after posting bond.
