Shots Fired and Car Crashed During Mayhem at Chuck E Cheese

Last weekend at a Chuck E. Cheese, several shots were fired and a vehicle plowed through the building while guests were inside the establishment.

According to reports, around 5 p.m. on September 23, Chuck E. Cheese in Brandon, Florida, experienced an intense situation while they were open for business.

A group of patrons at the family entertainment center and pizza restaurant reportedly began to fight. A security guard edged the bunch toward the door to try to make them handle the problem outside.

It was reported that a woman who was a part of the group retrieved a gun, and when the security guard spotted it, they tried to remove it from her possession.

Before it could be taken from her, the woman reportedly dropped the firearm on the ground outside.

A different woman reportedly noticed the gun and picked it up. She allegedly fired at least one shot into the sky before losing control of and dropping the piece.

Another woman involved in the incident reportedly grabbed the gun and stashed it in a Chevrolet.

While the fight between the people who were escorted out of the restaurant continued, a vehicle crashed into the side of the building and injured three patrons.

Two women and a youngster needed medical treatment.

Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office went to the location, and they apprehended the suspects.

The three females and one male suspected of causing the situation were placed under arrest for the pandemonium.

The following day, Chuck E. Cheese released a statement assuring that “The safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority.”

It is reported that the people who were hurt had non-life-threatening injuries.
