When the fiancée of an unfaithful man reportedly caught him with a woman at a hotel, she allegedly drove up and grabbed her by the hair before dragging her alongside the vehicle.
On the morning of June 20, a 43-year-old woman was reportedly in a vehicle in the parking lot at the Clarion Hotel in Miami. She saw two people leaving the hotel and identified the man as her fiancé, who she believed was often unfaithful. As he and his female companion walked through the lot, his girlfriend reportedly drove up and confronted them. She allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair and held on when she started driving the vehicle again, in addition to dousing her with pepper spray. The authorities were notified, and officers from the Miami Springs Police Department began investigating the incident.
The suspect was no longer at the scene when the police arrived, and a surveillance video from the hotel parking lot was reviewed. The police reported that it showed the incident and provided a good look at the people involved. The footage from the camera also showed a clear view of the license plate number on the car the suspect was driving.
A few hours later, officers spotted the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. When they searched inside, they reported that they found pepper spray in a purse on the floor. According to reports, the suspect copped to the attack and told the police she reacted because she was upset about her fiancé’s infidelity.
The woman was taken into custody and jailed on one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She was released on bond after spending two days behind bars and is prohibited from contacting the alleged victim. She has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
