A woman in Utah was arrested for causing mayhem at a gas station after she allegedly used an accelerant to set her boyfriend and his vehicle on fire.

On June 27, a 23-year-old woman and her boyfriend were in the man’s vehicle at a 7-Eleven gas station located in Midvale. They appeared to be having a verbal disagreement that allegedly turned violent. Others in the vicinity reportedly saw the woman spark what they believed was a lighter before the man got out with his clothing on fire. The car was also ignited. The woman reportedly left the scene immediately.

Officers from the Unified Police Department showed up to investigate, and they collected the video recorded from the surveillance camera and reviewed the footage to see what it captured. They reported that they saw what appeared to be a woman igniting a man’s clothing and vehicle after pouring something on them. As reported by witnesses, with his clothing and car ablaze, the man began running around until someone approached and put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.

When the fiancée of an unfaithful man reportedly caught him with a woman at a hotel, she allegedly drove up and grabbed her by the hair before dragging her alongside the vehicle.

On the morning of June 20, a 43-year-old woman was reportedly in a vehicle in the parking lot at the Clarion Hotel in Miami. She saw two people leaving the hotel and identified the man as her fiancé, who she believed was often unfaithful. As he and his female companion walked through the lot, his girlfriend reportedly drove up and confronted them. She allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair and held on when she started driving the vehicle again, in addition to dousing her with pepper spray. The authorities were notified, and officers from the Miami Springs Police Department began investigating the incident.

The suspect was no longer at the scene when the police arrived, and a surveillance video from the hotel parking lot was reviewed. The police reported that it showed the incident and provided a good look at the people involved. The footage from the camera also showed a clear view of the license plate number on the car the suspect was driving.

A man on probation in Kentucky is facing multiple charges after he reportedly left the state without permission and physically assaulted an officer in Florida after collecting a $167.3 million Powerball jackpot.

On April 26, a man who previously served a 14-year prison sentence and is on parole until August became the recipient of half of the $167.3 million Powerball jackpot his mother won on a ticket he bought for her from a convenience store in Georgetown. On April 30, though he reportedly failed to get the required permission to leave the state, he and his girlfriend were involved in an incident at a hotel in Florida. While at the waterfront resort in St. Pete’s Beach, the man had an encounter with a patron that allegedly led to him striking the other party in the face. When a deputy from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office intervened to try to diffuse the situation, the man reportedly swung his leg, and his foot made contact with the deputy’s face. At the same time, the man’s girlfriend, who was allegedly intoxicated, reportedly began yelling at people and defending him.

When the deputy tried to arrest the man, he reportedly tried to run away. According to reports, after he was caught, he remained uncooperative with law enforcement.

Two Texas men are facing multiple charges after they were arrested in connection with thefts from hotel parking lots in several cities.

Early in the morning on January 4, the authorities received a report about a potential car theft that was happening at the Holiday Inn Express in Sweetwater. Officers from the Sweetwater Police Department went to the hotel to investigate. When they arrived, they found one of the suspects sitting in a car in the hotel parking lot. The officers reported that the man they believed was the second suspect fled the scene and entered the woods near the property.

Drones, thermal imaging equipment, and a K9 were used in the search for the man, and he was quickly found.

A Pennsylvania man who works as a clown was picked up in an undercover investigation for allegedly posting an ad offering sexual services for cash.

On May 18, agents from the Carbondale Police Department launched an undercover investigation targeting sex workers in the area. Since many people post online ads offering services, websites were searched to see if anyone was offering illegal escort services. One of the detectives saw an advertisement that caused them to believe the individual was a sex worker seeking clientele.

After identifying the man and texting the phone number listed in the ad, the police decided to go undercover and set up a meeting with the suspect. They agreed to meet him at a hotel in the area on July 2, and the man said he would text them when he arrived.

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly setting her Tinder date and his vehicle on fire when he failed to provide her with money to fix her car.

On November 16, a couple who met on Tinder wanted to get together to hang out, and they decided the man would pick her up from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Miami. The man reported that the meeting went well, and afterward, he dropped her off at the hotel.

The woman reportedly called the man around 5:00 AM on November 25, and she asked him to come to the hotel. When he arrived, the man stayed in his car. According to reports, the woman walked up to the vehicle with a jug in her hand. She reportedly told the man she was short on cash and needed to pay to have repairs done on her car.

A man in the Navy was arrested at a hotel in Florida for allegedly striking his girlfriend in the face several times after a dinner celebration for his promotion to Chief petty officer.

On the evening of October 6, a 36-year-old man who had recently been promoted to Chief petty officer in the United States Navy was attending a dinner party in his honor at the Doubletree Hotel in Jacksonville. His girlfriend reported that they arrived at the soiree around 5:00 p.m., and the couple rented a room for the night.

Just after midnight, while the pair was in their hotel room, they reportedly got into a verbal dispute. A man walking past the door reportedly heard the woman yelling for help, and he knocked until he was let in. He reportedly spotted the woman on the floor and helped her get downstairs so she could call the authorities.

Former Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso was arrested last weekend after allegedly causing a drunken disturbance at a hotel and stealing snack food from a convenience store in Texas.

32-year-old actor Mitchel Musso is well known for playing Oliver Oken in Disney’s Hannah Montana, in addition to playing parts in several additional Disney Channel productions. He is also a pop singer.

On August 26, the Garland, Texas native was in Rockwall, Texas, approximately 200 miles from his hometown.

A Virginia woman who was formerly a victim advocate is facing charges after the police caught her at an out-of-state hotel with the alleged intention of sexually abusing an 8-year-old. 

Earlier this year, a woman who used to work as a victim-witness advocate for the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, an early learning specialist at ReadyKids, and a special event coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters reportedly went to a fetish website to talk about “taboo parenting.” 

An undercover officer began to interact with the woman, and they spent a few weeks talking to each other on an encrypted app.

A man dressed as the Grinch was locked up after he allegedly had an altercation involving someone dressed as a reindeer, in addition to a staff member at a Michigan bar. 

On the evening of December 3, employees of an oil and gas company were holding a Christmas party at the bar at Hotel Indigo in Traverse City. 

Four of the people at the party reportedly started arguing, and the hotel staff became concerned.
