Boyfriend Lost Testicle Skin During Domestic Attack

29-year-old Donika Shaniece Mays and her boyfriend live together in Largo, Florida with their 2-year-old.

On the afternoon of July 14, Mays and her man were reportedly bickering all morning and their verbal fighting eventually allegedly turned physical.

When the man went outside he reportedly noticed that his vehicle’s tires were deflated, and he asked Mays if she knew what caused the event.

According to the police report, Mays copped to slicing the tires, and her boyfriend notified a tow company to assist him.

The man exited the home so he could meet with the tow truck driver upon arrival, and asserted that Mays trailed behind him and began insisting that he give her his cell phone. She allegedly began to swat at him continuously as he tried to remove himself from her reach.

Mays reportedly grabbed ahold of her boyfriend in the groin area through his clothing, and the act allegedly caused all of the skin to slough off on his left testicle.

The Largo Police Department sent law enforcement when notified of the alleged domestic violence, and the driver of the tow truck gave a statement to the police asserting that he was present and watching as the incident took place.

When she was asked by an officer to give her account of what had transpired, Mays reportedly copped to all of the allegations made against her.

Mays, who is reported as being on probation until September from the battery of a different man in 2018, was arrested. She is expected to face charges for suspicion of felony battery, providing false identification to law enforcement, and probation violation.

She was booked into the Pinellas County Jail in on a $7,650 bond, and upon her release, she is disallowed from contacting her boyfriend.
