Former EMT Facing 27 Felonies for Sex Crimes Against Children

A Kensington man who used to work as an EMT is facing over two dozen charges after he was accused of drugging and sexually abusing children, in addition to possessing an enormous amount of child pornography.

54-year-old Todd Burnim lives in Kensington, New Hampshire. He was formerly employed at the Kensington and East Kingston Fire Departments as an emergency medical technician. It was reported that he was most recently working at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, and with the company “Action EMS.”

According to the authorities, they believed that Burnim was involved in sexual crimes involving three alleged victims between the ages of 8 and 12.

It was reported that the alleged abuse occurred between the years of 2012 and 2019. The authorities also purport that Burnim gave the alleged victims narcotics.

Police obtained warrants to place Burnim under arrest for the allegations, and to conduct a search of his home.

On January 18, law enforcement from Exeter, Seabrook, the Hillsborough County Sheriff Department, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force went to Burnim’s home with the warrants in hand.

The police tried to get Burnim to open the door, but the man went to a window and reportedly refused to cooperate.

Approximately two hours after they arrived, Burnim came out of his house, and the police detained him.

While they were searching his residence, the authorities allegedly found approximately 800 pictures depicting children being abused.

Burnim is facing charges for suspicion of two counts of felonious sexual assault, ten counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, and fifteen counts of possession of child sex abuse images.

Burnim was being held without bail due to the nature of his alleged crimes.
