An Omaha, Nebraska, funeral home employee is facing charges for allegedly having intimate relations with a sex doll he found in a deceased person’s residence.
On October 6, a 41-year-old man who worked for Mid America First Call Inc., a business specializing in the removal and embalming of deceased humans, went with his coworker to retrieve the body of a person who died in an Omaha residence. While they were in the home, they reportedly found a life-size sex doll before they departed.
According to reports, the 41-year-old got in touch with the manager of the property and told them that the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office asked him to retrieve the doll for evidence. He allegedly claimed it was needed for “a biopsy.” The manager told the man that he would not be allowed to enter the residence.
Later in the day, the manager went to the property and thought he heard sounds coming from the apartment. When he checked the door, he found it was locked from the inside with the chain.
It was reported that the man from the funeral home came out of the apartment with some of his clothing undone, and then left the premises. The manager notified the authorities about the alleged break-in and told them he was concerned that the personal belongings of the deceased tenant would be stolen.
Investigators went to the location and inspected the apartment. They plan to attempt to collect DNA from the doll to prove their suspicions that the funeral home worker had sexual relations with it.
The suspect was arrested, and he is facing preliminary charges for Class III felony burglary, criminal trespassing, and tampering with physical evidence. Other charges may be pending.
According to a representative from Mid America First Call, the man no longer works with them.
