Man Dumped Urine on Girlfriend during Domestic Dispute

A reportedly drunk man was accused of throwing a bucket filled with urine at his girlfriend during an argument between the couple.

61-year-old Fred Funnye and his 27-year-old girlfriend have been together for approximately four years. Five months ago, the couple decided to share a residence in Myrtle Beach, and they are engaged to be married.

On the evening of May 17, Funnye reportedly went out for drinks at a friend’s residence, and the man allegedly became very intoxicated.

When Funnye went back to his home, he reportedly became confrontational with his girlfriend.

The situation reportedly escalated into an argument, and Funnye allegedly made obscene comments to his girlfriend. While he yelled at the woman, Funnye reportedly got the bucket he uses for urination. The man allegedly threw the urine the bucket contained on his girlfriend, and she became soaked with the bodily waste.

Just before 3:30 am, the Myrtle Beach Police Department received notification of a domestic disturbance, and an officer went to the home.

According to the incident report, the officer could smell urine, and the alleged victim presented the police clothing that was wet with it as well. There was also a puddle purported to be urine on the floor.

The officer went to speak with Funnye about the incident, but the man was asleep.

After waking him, the officer said Funnye still had a detectable smell of alcohol on him.

The man reportedly stated that he had imbibed alcohol the evening before, but he denied throwing the urine on his girlfriend.

The officer believed Funnye was at fault for the altercation.

Funnye was taken into custody, and he is facing charges for suspicion of misdemeanor third-degree domestic violence.
