Michael Jordan’s Son Arrested for DUI and Cocaine

Michael Jordan’s son Marcus was arrested for cocaine possession and driving under the influence after he got his SUV stuck on a set of railroad tracks while reportedly trying to escape from the police.

34-year-old Marcus Jordan, son of Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, used to play basketball at the University of Central Florida and appeared on the TV shows “The Real Housewives of Miami” and “Traitors.” According to reports, he also owns the Orlando-based “Trophy Room” boutique.

Early last week, Jordan went out for the evening and allegedly had a few drinks while visiting establishments in Winter Park and Casselberry. Just after 1:00 AM, the man was driving with a passenger when a Seminole County sheriff’s deputy tried to pull him over. He reportedly failed to stop and was able to escape for a short time, but his vehicle was disabled when he got stuck on a set of railroad tracks.

Officers from the Maitland Police Department were driving nearby when they noticed Jordan’s headlights and realized the vehicle was stalled on the tracks. When they approached him, Jordan told the officers he got stuck after making a wrong turn and asked for help to get his SUV unstuck. They reported that they could smell alcohol and that Jordan showed several signs of intoxication. The man reportedly performed poorly on roadside sobriety tests and would not consent to a breath test. When he was arrested, he allegedly struggled and gave the officers a hard time.

Jordan, who reportedly sang songs while being taken to the facility, was booked into the Orange County Jail. He is facing preliminary charges of DUI with property damage, possession of cocaine, and resisting an officer. He was released early in the afternoon after posting a $4,000 bond.
