A woman in South Florida was arrested after the authorities suspected she was selling counterfeit goods and sent an undercover agent to her home, where over $1 million in fake products were allegedly discovered.

According to reports, a 35-year-old woman with a residence in the unincorporated West Little River section of Miami-Dade County was operating a home business that someone had reported to the authorities. The caller, who notified the Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers about the setup, claimed the woman was selling fake designer handbags and other items under the guise that they were authentic. An investigation into the situation was opened, and the authorities decided to orchestrate a sting operation.

On June 16, an undercover deputy went to the address as a potential buyer. When they arrived at the address, they were granted entry and reportedly welcomed to look around to see what products they were interested in purchasing. After buying what was believed to be a Louis Vuitton Sarah wallet and a Louis Vuitton Alma BB handbag, the deputy left, and the items were reported as fakes when the manufacturer inspected them. On June 30, a second undercover operation took place, and another handbag was purchased.
