A man in Missouri was arrested after he allegedly got on a school bus with his young daughter and reportedly told her to assault another child.
According to reports, on the morning of October 9, a Ferguson-Florissant School District bus was at a stop along its route. The father of a 6-year-old who was on the bus approached, and he was reportedly told by the driver that he could not enter, but the man allegedly dismissed him and got on anyway. His daughter reportedly pointed at a 7-year-old, and her father allegedly began to threaten the youngster before reportedly instructing his daughter to attack her. He allegedly told his daughter to do what he said, and the girl reportedly punched the other child in the head multiple times. When she stopped, the father reportedly told her to keep going because he wanted her to make the alleged victim cry.
According to the police, the child continued hitting the youngster until her dad said she could stop. The pair then got off the bus and left the scene. When the authorities reviewed the surveillance footage, they reported that the video matched what the alleged victim told them had happened during the incident. Investigators said they believed the man had planned the confrontation in advance. It remains unclear whether the children had any prior issues between them before the incident.
