A New Jersey man who was reportedly high on psilocybin and causing problems at a brewery tried to run away from the police before he was arrested on multiple charges.
Early in the afternoon on September 29, a 24-year-old man visited the Czig Meister Craft Brewery in Hackettstown when someone noticed he brought alcohol into the establishment. Since the brewery does not allow patrons to do so, they told him he needed to leave.
One of the employees spoke to the authorities and told them what was happening. Officers from the Hackettstown Police Department responded, and when they were standing outside the front door to the brewery, they saw the suspect walk by. He appeared to be heading to the exit door, and he allegedly used it to try to get back inside. The officers went up to him and told him he had to leave, and they took him to his residence.
