Two women who work at a California daycare center allegedly fractured the skull of a child they were taking care of and reportedly did not let the parents know about the injury.
29-year-old Megan Maldonado resides in San Bernardino, and Felicia Ann Ferra, 50, lives in Yorba Linda. Both women are employees who provide daycare to the children enrolled at a Rancho Cucamonga Kiddie Academy Educational Childcare.
Last September, the authorities opened an investigation after the Loma Linda University Medical Center Pediatric Intensive Care Unit informed them about an eight-month-old boy’s injuries. The police were told that the infant’s skull was fractured, and it was believed that the injury might have come from abuse.
