36-year-old Precious Jackson lives in University Heights, Ohio.
Jackson reportedly had serious problems with one of her former neighbors, 25-year-old Maneka Garner.
Jackson filed a petition to keep Garner away from her, and she was granted a temporary protection order.
Late in the afternoon last Tuesday, Jackson and her 7-year-old were shopping at Walmart in South Euclid.
At the same time, Garner was in the store with her 5-year-old, and the women noticed each other.
Garner allegedly approached Jackson and her child, and the woman reportedly said she was going to physically assault Jackson and her youngster.
After allegedly issuing the warning, Garner reportedly yanked on Jackson’s face mask and exposed the woman’s nose and mouth before spitting at her.
The bodily fluids did not land on Jackson, and Garner allegedly noticed a large, prepackaged tube of ground beef in the woman’s shopping cart. She reportedly snatched the 10-pound roll of meat and hit Jackson in the face with it more than once.
Jackson notified the authorities, and officers from the South Euclid Police Department dispatched to the store.
Statements were taken from the alleged victim, and witnesses at the scene, and an officer spoke with Garner about the allegations.
According to the incident report, Garner reportedly told the officer that she approached Jackson because she didn’t realize the protective order had not expired.
Garner, who was reported as having more than one active warrant for her arrest, was taken into custody. She is facing charges for suspicion of violating a protective order, and assault, to which she has pleaded not guilty.
