Woman with Road Rage Shot at SUV Carrying 4 Children

The passenger of a car on the Interstate in Missouri allegedly fired three shots at a vehicle holding a mother, father, and four youngsters.

On June 15, 22-year-old Shanyka Fouche and her 2-year-old were reportedly passengers in a Ford Focus driven by another woman.

Around 3:00 pm, while the Focus was on I-55 in Jefferson County, they reportedly drove up behind a Nissan Pathfinder with a family of six inside. Four of the passengers were children, ages 2 to 11. The mother was driving the SUV, and the dad was in the passenger’s seat.

When the driver of the Focus reached the Pathfinder, she reportedly got so close to the vehicle that the mother tapped the breaks to try to get them to back off.

The woman driving the Focus reportedly changed lanes and sped up to pass the Pathfinder.

As they traveled past the Pathfinder, Fouche allegedly fired three shots in the direction of the SUV. One of the two bullets that reportedly went through the passenger’s side door injured the 32-year-old dad when it hit him in the leg. The back tire was also blown out.

The woman pulled the SUV to the side of the road and contacted the authorities.

When the police located the Focus, they reportedly spent an hour tailing them before pulling them over.

Fouche was taken into custody and booked into the Jefferson County Jail for suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault, five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action.

The driver of the vehicle was also arrested.

The alleged victim’s wife and children were not harmed during the event, and the injury to his leg was reported as being minor.
