5-Year-Old Gave Bikini Waxes to Nude Women

The mother of a 5-year-old in Tennessee is in legal trouble after allegedly posting images on social media showing her daughter giving bikini waxes to unclothed adult women.

In the middle of February, a 30-year-old woman who operates a hair removal business out of her Memphis residence reportedly posted pictures and videos of her 5-year-old daughter on social media. The woman allegedly wrote a caption on the materials saying the youngster had performed 24 bikini waxings on clients within a 24-hour period. Several of the images allegedly showed what appeared to be the child applying wax to women who had stripped from the waist down.

The Memphis Police Department began receiving calls from citizens who saw the content online. They were reportedly notified by more than 80 people within a week.

An investigation was opened, and the authorities viewed the digital content. They reportedly confirmed that it looked like a child was applying wax to women who were not fully clothed. They reported that the social media posts had been removed after people made negative comments, and they asked that anyone who saw the images not share or download them.

On February 20, the woman was taken into custody on a warrant and booked into the Shelby County Jail. According to jail records, she is facing preliminary charges of child abuse and child neglect. Later that day, she was released from incarceration on her own recognizance. Her next court date is scheduled for March 20.

The woman reportedly said she only posted the digital content on social media so she could drum up customers for her business.

The Department of Child Services is also investigating the situation.
