Cops Blame Booze for Crash Involving Mom With 3 Tots in Car

A mother who was driving with her three children on Saturday night collided with an object and when the police responded they alleged that the woman caused the mishap because she was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

28-year-old Kianna Monique Pugh was driving in downtown Modesto, just over an hour from Sacramento, late in the evening on Saturday with her three children as passengers in the back seat.

Pugh was reportedly involved in a small accident around 11:30 pm when the vehicle she was operating made an impact with a fixture.

When the police arrived at the scene they took note that each of the three toddlers in the car with Pugh was guessed to be under the age of four. No one was reported as injured in any way during the incident.

The police purported that Pugh was acting in a manner that led them to suspect she had been drinking and was intoxicated.

Pugh was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, child endangerment, and driving with a suspended or revoked license. She is being held in lieu of $52,000 bail.
