Drunk Driver tried Dancing Her Way Through Sobriety Test

When a Florida woman believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol was asked to take a roadside sobriety test, she performed several dance moves instead of following the officer’s instructions.

On April 27, a woman was driving her vehicle within a mile of her residence in Madeira Beach when she reportedly caused a car accident. It was reported that she slammed into the back of another automobile.

The police arrived at the site of the collision and spoke to her about the incident.

It was reported that the woman smelled like she had been drinking, and her eyes were red.

The police reported that the woman was going to do a roadside sobriety test, and they wanted her to walk in a straight line for one of the exercises using a line painted on the pavement in a parking lot.

As seen on released footage from one of the officer’s body cams, the suspect started to dance. She can be seen performing ballet and Irish jig moves.

According to reports, the police spent approximately eight minutes trying to get the woman to follow their instructions, but she continued to trip the light fantastic.

One of the officers told the woman they didn’t think she was a good dancer.

The suspect was arrested and booked at the police station for suspicion of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to testing.

This is not the first time she has been in trouble for allegedly drinking and driving. According to court records, in March 2019, the woman was arrested for driving under the influence. At the end of this April, she was booked for DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to testing.
