Ex-Cop had Child Porn Decorating Walls of Home

An Oklahoma registered nurse who was previously a law enforcement officer was allegedly caught with child pornography displayed all over his home.

Paul Hobbs, 44, has two houses. One of them is in Yukon, and another in Ada. He was an officer in Warr Acres for approximately 6 years.

In 2006, Hobbs left his public servant job to become a registered nurse.

Recently, the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. They believed Hobbs had uploaded child pornography to an internet storage application.

An investigation was opened, and the authorities reportedly learned that Hobbs had uploaded photos of naked children. Some of the youngsters were assessed to be 6-years-old.

The Canadian County investigators worked with the Ada Police Department and obtained search warrants for both of Hobbs’ residences.

At the beginning of August, Hobbs’ homes were investigated and his electronic devices were collected by the authorities.

Hobbs’ Ada residence reportedly had many pictures containing child pornography that the police believe he printed from the internet. A handful of the pictures were allegedly hung around the apartment, and some were reportedly stuck to the refrigerator.

It was reported that Hobbs was with the children in some of the images, but the authorities believe the pictures had been edited to include him.

Investigators with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office reported that they looked through Hobbs’ computers and electronic equipment. They allegedly found pictures showing the rapes of naked young girls estimated to be between 6 and 16-years old.

Hobbs was placed under arrest and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

He is expected to face charges for the possession of child pornography.
