A Florida man is facing several charges after he reportedly went on a crime spree involving having sexual intercourse with a dog, destroying a nativity scene at a church, and attempting to steal a vehicle.
On December 4, a 36-year-old man from Orlando took his friend’s dog for a walk, and while they were out, he allegedly had sexual intercourse with the canine.
People in the apartment complex, including a juvenile, reportedly saw the man in action, and one of them approached him.
According to reports, the man ran away and ended up at the Northwood Presbyterian Church nearby.
When he went into the church, a nativity scene was set up, and flowers in pots were decorating the interior. The man allegedly knocked over the nativity scene and broke some of the planters.
After he left the church, the man reportedly threw around toys in the playground area.
It was reported that the man then ran into a different neighborhood and allegedly broke a mailbox and attempted to steal a vehicle.
Officers from the Clearwater Police Department were notified about the string of events, and they began to search for the suspect.
Around 8:00 PM, the police located the man they believed was responsible for the alleged chaotic spree.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Pinellas County Jail. He may face charges for sexual activity involving animals, two counts of lewd or lascivious exhibition, two counts of exposure of sexual organs, criminal mischief, and criminal mischief to a place of worship.
He is currently still incarcerated.
It was reported that approximately $400 worth of damage was done during the incident at the church.
