Fox TV Reporter Arrested for DUI in Alabama

A prominent Fox television news broadcast reporter in Alabama was recently arrested after he was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to his bio on Fox 10 TV’s website, Steve Alexander (aka Steven Alexander Ozenovich) is a seasoned broadcast journalist with “more than 35 years experience.”

Alexander, who has been recognized with several Press Club awards for his works, is currently listed as a WALA-TV reporter.

In the early morning hours last Sunday, Alexander was reportedly driving his vehicle in Mobile.

Though the details behind what led to his interaction with law enforcement have not been disclosed at this time, the authorities allegedly found that Alexander displayed enough probable cause to warrant accusations that he was driving while intoxicated.

Just before 7:00 am, Alexander was taken into custody and charged for suspicion of DUI.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the alleged incident.

On Facebook, the group “Busted in Mobile,” who states that they post the mugshots of current suspects booked at the Mobile County Metro Jail, added a post regarding Alexander’s arrest and it has received much attention from the public.

The social media release, which has been shared more than 1,000 times since it was posted, also contains many comments from the community and past coworkers who have expressed their support for Alexander, some by reminding readers of the content that he is a good person who made a mistake that any of us might also make.

Fox 10 released a comment regarding the situation and said that they are aware of the situation, but they have chosen to withhold further statements at this time.
