Man Mistook Abuse from Girlfriend for Rough Sex Play

A man who was the alleged victim of domestic violence was said to have first believed that his girlfriend was injuring him to mimic the theme of the story “50 Shades of Gray.”

21-year-old Nicole Onque resides with her 40-year-old boyfriend in Largo, Florida.

Last weekend, Onque and her boyfriend went to a festival together, and they returned to their residence in the early morning hours on Monday.

According to reports, Onque misplaced her cell phone after they got home, and she allegedly became increasingly frustrated the longer her search for it was fruitless.

Onque’s prolonged hunt for the device reportedly caused the pair to get into an argument.

The woman was able to locate her cell phone, but the couple reportedly continued the dispute.

It was reported that their verbal fight began to intensify, and Onque allegedly started to openhandedly strike her boyfriend in the back and legs. When she allegedly began hitting him with more force, the man reportedly suffered a strong blow to the head.

Onque’s boyfriend decided he needed to leave the house, and the authorities were notified about the situation.

When the police talked to the alleged victim about what happened, he reportedly recounted the events that led up to the alleged assault.

The man reportedly informed the officer that when he thought the situation had calmed down, he took a seat at his desk with his back facing Onque. He said that she started to slap his back, but he got the impression that she was trying to be sexually aggressive like the characters in “50 Shades of Gray.”

The alleged victim reportedly said he realized his girlfriend was not playing around when she started scratching him and hitting him harder.

It was reported that the man had a bump on his head and visible scratches on his back.

Onque was taken into custody and booked on charges of misdemeanor battery.
