A woman allegedly hit her boyfriend with used dog pads and spritzed window cleaner in his face after they got into a spat.
60-year-old Ann Walsh lives in Clearwater, Florida, with her 64-year-old boyfriend.
Just before midnight on May 20, Walsh and her partner reportedly began to fight.
During the dispute, the man was seated on the sofa, and Walsh allegedly decided to fight dirty. The woman reportedly grabbed dog pads covered in mess and threw them in the direction of her boyfriend. The dirty pads allegedly flew across the room and hit his body.
According to the arrest report, Walsh also “sprayed Windex into the face of the victim.”
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office learned of the alleged domestic unrest, and response was sent to the couple’s residence.
When they arrived, the authorities asserted that there was enough probable cause to assert that Walsh had struck her boyfriend against his will.
Walsh’s significant other did not suffer from any injuries during the alleged assault.
The authorities reportedly read Walsh her Miranda rights, and they noted that she gave them a statement.
According to the officer, Walsh said she did “spray[ing] the victim in the face with the Windex spray.” The affidavit did not reflect the Florida woman copping to the allegations of hitting the alleged victim with the soiled canine pads.
Walsh was taken into custody and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a $5,000 bond. She is expected to face charges for suspicion of domestic battery.
As a result of the allegations, if she is released on bond, Walsh will not be allowed to contact her boyfriend.
