Man Shot Girlfriend over Unemployment Website Rage

A Georgia woman was reportedly shot four times by her boyfriend who was allegedly angry over his inability to access the unemployment website.

29-year-old Brandon Strong is from Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Strong’s girlfriend, who is a mother, resides in Rex.

Early in the morning on July 29, Strong was reportedly at his girlfriend’s residence. The man was trying to access the website for unemployment.

Strong could not recall his password, and he was unsuccessful in his attempts when he tried to connect to the site. The man reportedly became enraged.

Strong and his girlfriend reportedly began to argue, and just before 4:00 am, the woman was allegedly shot four times.

The alleged victim quickly collected her child and went to her vehicle. She and the child were found there when the authorities arrived at the scene.

The Clayton County Police reported that the woman had four bullet holes in her arm, and she was screaming.

Clayton EMS were called to the address to help the alleged victim, and while awaiting their arrival, the woman’s arm was placed in a tourniquet to try to control the bleeding.

When speaking with the woman, the authorities reported that they inquired about what led up to the shooting.

The woman reportedly told the officers that Strong was drunk and altered by drug use. She reportedly said that when he got upset about forgetting the password he started shooting the firearm.

The man was still inside the residence, and the police reported that he cooperated when they apprehended him.

Strong was placed under arrest and booked into the Clayton County Jail. He is expected to face charges for suspicion of aggravated assault, felony cruelty to children, first and third-degree counts of felony cruelty to children, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless conduct, and criminal damage.

It was reported that the victim of the shooting is expected to make a full recovery.
