Man Stabbed When Trying to Reclaim Sex Toy

When a man went to his cousin’s house to retrieve a sex toy that he reportedly loaned her, she allegedly stabbed him and forced him to leave her property without returning the item.
Crystal Jean Denham, 33, lives in Corban, Kentucky. It is reported that she is a neighbor to her cousin Michael.
According to records, Denham was jailed last year and charged with public intoxication of a controlled substance.
On October 23, Denham notified the authorities. It was reported that she told them she stabbed a member of her family.
Officers went to her address, and it was noted in the arrest report that Denham was sweeping the front porch when they got there.
Denham reportedly discussed the situation with the officer and told him that her cousin loaned her a sex toy and came over to ask her to return it. She said they began to argue, and she asked him to leave. He reportedly ignored her request and grabbed her elbow.
According to the affidavit, the woman said she started to act erratically to try to force him to leave. She reportedly used a knife to stab at her cousin, but she said she didn’t think he was touched or sliced by the blade during the encounter.
When the police went to her cousin’s residence, they reported that he had “three minor cuts” that they believed were caused by Denham using the knife during the incident.
As the police tried to detain her, Denham reportedly fought against being taken into custody, but it did not take long for them to get the situation under control.
Denham was placed under arrest and booked into the Whitley County Detention Center. She is facing charges for suspicion of second-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing, and resisting arrest.
