Massage Therapist Arrested for Inappropriate Touching

A massage therapist in Florida has been accused of getting too close to one of his clients by touching her in a sexual manner without her consent.

41-year-old Michael Curtis Rolfsmeyer is a Florida man who is known online as “Michael the Muscle Mechanic.” Rolfsmeyer works as a massage therapist at a hotel in Miami Beach.

On May 7, a woman who was vacationing at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel booked a massage session with Rolfsmeyer.

When Rolfsmeyer was rubbing the woman, she alleged that he began to touch her in a sexual manner.

The authorities were notified about the alleged unprofessional body massage.

Officers from the Miami Beach Police Department spoke to the woman. She reported that she did not tell Rolfsmeyer to stop touching her because she found herself too stunned and scared to speak during the alleged incident.

The police were unable to talk to Rolfsmeyer, who had reportedly left the hotel before they arrived.

According to reports, the authorities learned Rolfsmeyer’s address and attempted to locate him there. After several unsuccessful visits to the home, they reported that they felt it was necessary to find another way to interact with him.

The police decided to try to catch up with Rolfsmeyer by scheduling a faux appointment with him for a massage.

While the man was walking down the street close to the time of the appointment, the police intercepted him and placed him in handcuffs.

Rolfsmeyer was taken into custody and booked into the county jail on a $1,500 surety bond. He has been accused of one count of misdemeanor battery.

Rolfsmeyer, who was accused of similar behavior towards a client at a different hotel in Miami Beach last summer, posted bond and was released shortly after his arrest.
