Mom Planned to Leave 2 Infants Alone at Gas Station

An intoxicated mother in Oklahoma was arrested after allegedly attempting to leave her youngsters at a gas station so she could go to someone’s home to have a sexual encounter.

According to reports, on the evening of June 13, the mother of a 6-year-old, 4-month-old, and 11-month-old put her kids in the car while reportedly trying to connect with their father to exchange custody of them. Her 6-year-old unexpectedly jumped out of the vehicle, and she had to call the police for assistance locating them. Multiple officers responded and looked for the youngster. They were initially unsuccessful, but after a more extensive search, they found the child at a relative’s home.

With her two younger children and an adult passenger, the woman drove to a nearby 7-Eleven gas station. Someone at the store reportedly saw her pull in, and they believed she had been drinking alcohol. They reportedly watched as the woman allegedly grabbed one of the babies by the arm and dropped them on the ground. The adult passenger reportedly put the child back into the automobile while the woman was allegedly trying to remove the other. Ultimately, she drove away with both youngsters.

The person who claimed they saw the incident notified the authorities and told them what they believed happened. They also gave a description of the car. When the police found her, they conducted a traffic stop. The woman allegedly said she had been drinking, and she dropped a pin of the gas station location to the father of the youngsters so he could pick them up for the planned custody exchange. She also reportedly informed the police that she was trying to leave the children at the gas station so she could go have sex.

The woman was initially released without charges until she was taken into custody on an arrest warrant on July 17. She was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center in Oklahoma City. She is currently facing official charges of two counts of felony child neglect. She was released from jail after posting a $50,000 bond.
