The manager of a Pizza Hut in Florida was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage employee in the bathroom at the restaurant.
A few weeks ago, a young woman who is a high school student took a job at a Pizza Hut in Osceola County.
One of the managers at the restaurant is a 32-year-old man, and he reportedly began to talk to the teen on social media. He allegedly messaged her on Snapchat and sent her naked pictures of himself.
According to reports, on August 26, the manager was working at the same time as the young woman, and he reportedly intentionally charged her with cleaning the bathroom. When the teenager went into the restroom, the man reportedly went in behind her and closed the door. Once inside, he allegedly had sex with the girl, who reportedly did not consent to the encounter.
When her parents showed up to pick her up after work, they became aware of what allegedly went on, and the authorities were notified.
Deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office went to the restaurant. They spoke with the alleged victim, who reportedly told them she had been too afraid to come forward about the situation.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Osceola County Jail, where he currently remains on a $33,000 bond. He is facing preliminary charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unlawful sexual activity with a minor, transmitting information harmful to a minor, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
The authorities have announced that the investigation is ongoing, and they are trying to make sure there are no additional alleged victims.
