Police Assaulted with Contents of Man’s Colostomy Bag

When a drunk man reportedly causing a disturbance at a steak house was confronted by the authorities, he allegedly covered the officers with the load inside his colostomy bag.

On the evening of May 1, 39-year-old Nicholas Newhart reportedly went to hang out at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘N’ Roll Steakhouse in Nashville, Tennessee.

Newhart, who had allegedly consumed quite a bit of alcohol, reportedly exited the establishment with a bottle of beer and stood in front of the emergency exit.

When he was noticed by the security guards, they reportedly told Newhart he would have to move away from the door.

The man allegedly refused to comply, and the police were notified about the ongoing incident.

According to the affidavit, when officers went to the eatery, Newhart was still standing outside.

As the police approached the man, Newhart allegedly “took out his colostomy bag from the inside of his pants area and started to swing the bag around.” Two of the officers were reportedly hit with excrement as it escaped the device.

When interacting with Newhart after the alleged fecal assault, the officers reported that he showed several signs of being heavily intoxicated. The man allegedly reeked of spirits, could not remain standing without assistance, and had bloodshot eyes.

Newhart was detained due to his purported drunken state, in addition to his alleged assault of the officers.

Newhart was taken into custody for his alleged dirty deeds, and he was booked into the county jail. He is expected to face charges for suspicion of two counts of assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. His bond was set at $4,500.
