Man Caught with 22 Grams of Cocaine During Traffic Stop

A Delaware man is facing several charges after a traffic stop over a driving violation allegedly led to the discovery of a large stash of cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.

According to reports, just before 5:00 PM on July 16, someone later identified as a 34-year-old man from Dover was driving an Acura MDX around the Seaford area. A deputy spotted his vehicle as he turned a corner and reportedly failed to use his turn signal.

After initiating a traffic stop, the deputy reported that the driver appeared to be ignoring them since he did not pull over right away. When they got to a dead end, the man stopped and got out of the vehicle. It was reported that the exchange between the driver and the deputy was further complicated when the man allegedly hit him multiple times and ignored the law enforcement officer’s orders when they tried to arrest him. Before he was detained, the man was reportedly able to run away. Within moments, he was caught by the police.

Drunk Driver in Stolen Car Assaulted K9

When the police caught a woman driving an allegedly stolen vehicle who forced them to chase her through Shasta County, they said she punched a K9 officer while resisting arrest.

On the evening of August 7, a woman was reportedly driving around Redding in a silver Acura.

Just after 7:00 pm, the authorities began receiving calls from bystanders who said they saw a silver Acura being driven unsafely. The callers said that the driver was going the wrong way on the road into oncoming traffic.

Police Use Tear Gas to Apprehend Suspected Car Thief Resisting Arrest

A man was driving in an Acura in Anaheim late Monday evening when police ran the plates and identified it as a vehicle from Downey that had been reported stolen earlier that day.

As accounted by Sgt. Daron Wyatt of the Anaheim Police Department, officers pursued the car and the driver continued for approximately one block until he entered a residential area and stopped in the middle of the road. Police suspected there may have been a malfunction with the vehicle which forced him to come to a halt.

The man, identified as Norwalk resident Hector Munoz, then locked himself in the vehicle and refused to cooperate with law enforcement. Police used a PA system and made several attempts to get Munoz to get out of the vehicle, but he allegedly did not comply willingly.
