A Florida woman with her preteen daughter in the car is facing charges after she reportedly crashed into a school bus while allegedly driving under the influence.

On the afternoon of September 5, a 38-year-old woman from Coconut Creek was driving in Boynton Beach with her 11-year-old daughter in the car. As she made a left turn, she reportedly slammed into a Palm Beach County school bus. The driver was the only person on board, and it was reported that the vehicles were damaged, but no one was injured. Several motorists around the scene allegedly saw the accident as it occurred, and the authorities were notified.

They each reported that they noticed the woman’s car was swerving between the lanes and then saw her crash into the bus after making a sharp left turn. When the police talked to the alleged victim, they reported that she was unable to stand up straight. A woman is facing legal consequences after reportedly threatening to burn down a daycare center if her child, who is currently in foster care, was not given back to her.

Last August, a woman was involved in an incident after she showed up at a man’s residence and allegedly became violent and destroyed his personal belongings. She had her 2-year-old in her arms during the alleged tirade, and she reportedly held the child in a way that could have caused serious harm. When the police arrived, she was booked into the Broward County jail on suspicion of child abuse, child neglect, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest. The woman was released after posting a bond, and the child was placed in foster care.

According to reports, she showed up at KinderCare in Boynton Beach on multiple occasions in a purported attempt to see her daughter. The first incident occurred on December 31, when the woman showed up at the daycare center at a time when she knew the child would be there. When the girl’s foster parent spotted her, she told the mother she had to leave. She reportedly returned to the daycare on January 23, and someone stopped her when they believed she was trying to take the toddler. A week later, the woman, who was reportedly carrying a butane lighter and fire extinguisher, went back to the daycare and confronted her daughter’s foster parent. A security guard intervened, and the woman left. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department reported that the woman’s identification card, in addition to flammable items, were discovered inside two backpacks near the premises. It was also reported that a voice message was received by the foster parent, and the sender reportedly said they would burn down the daycare if they did not give back the child. The authorities believed the voice in the message matched the youngster’s mother’s voice.

He reported that when he tried to get off at his exit, the driver flashed their headlights at him multiple times and caused him to miss the turnoff. The man decided to head to the Boynton Beach police department. The other vehicle’s driver reportedly continued to tail him and flash their lights, even after they entered the police department’s parking lot. An officer came out of the station and intervened, and when they spoke to him, both drivers gave different accounts of the incident.

The man told the officer about being followed, but the driver of the other car, identified as a 47-year-old woman who is the Wynnebrook Elementary School principal, disputed his story. It was reported that she told the officer it was she who was planning to alert the authorities about the man’s unsafe driving. She reportedly said he brake checked her several times while she was behind him. While interacting with her, the officer believed she seemed intoxicated.
