Early in the morning on October 9, a 39-year-old woman was driving her vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Dallas with her son riding as a passenger in the back seat. People came out of their homes to see what happened, and they reported that the woman was yelling, and she seemed to be trying to start the wrecked vehicle.

A woman, later identified as the driver’s sister, drove up and tried to help put the unconscious boy in her vehicle, but it proved to be too much of a struggle. When first responders got to the scene, both women left in the sister’s car and left the youngster behind.
