A food delivery driver in upstate New York is facing felony charges after reportedly recording and posting a video of a customer who was partially unclothed and apparently unable to wake up.

The situation began during what was believed to be a routine food-delivery assignment. The worker later posted online and expressed that when she arrived at the customer’s residence, the front door was open, and the customer was lying partly nude on a couch in clear view from outside the home. She said she recorded the scene from the doorway or porch area. She then uploaded the footage to her social-media account, where it quickly spread and drew widespread attention.

In the days following the incident, the worker reported that the encounter included sexual misconduct directed at her. She also insisted that she never entered the residence and that she had evidence showing that the door had been open before she arrived, although she had not released that proof. She additionally reported that her delivery-platform account was deactivated after the video circulated, leaving her without the job she relied on for income.

A rideshare driver in Queens is facing serious charges after allegedly threatening to kill a customer who caused him to be banned from the platform.

In September 2022, the 47-year-old Uber driver refused to give a ride to a customer who had a service dog, and they reported him to Uber, leading to the driver’s account being deactivated. After he was fired, the driver reportedly spent nearly two years demanding proof that the dog was a legitimate service animal.

According to reports, things escalated in May 2024 when the former rideshare driver allegedly began making multiple threats toward Uber and the customer. He reportedly called at least 18 times and left several voicemails for the customer, allegedly threatening violence and stating his intention to “ruin” their life. Despite warnings from the FBI to stop, the threats reportedly continued.

An Ohio woman is facing legal penalties after she allegedly called 911 and reported that she required emergency assistance because her parents had deactivated her cell phone service.

Just before 6:00 pm on February 13, a call was received by 911 from a female who wanted to report an emergency that was taking place.

When the dispatcher began to speak with the woman they reportedly learned that the cause of her heightened state of distress was caused by her parents deciding to disconnect the service to her personal cell phone.
