A Florida man was arrested after the police reportedly found him behind the wheel with a BAC over six times the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle.
On January 7, a man was in Haines City sitting in a vehicle when someone spotted him and thought he looked like he might need help. They notified the authorities, and an officer from the Haines City Police Department who was on patrol nearby went to the scene to investigate the report. When they arrived and approached the car, the officer reported that it was running, and the man was unresponsive when he tried to wake him up.
According to reports, the man had his foot on the brake, and the car was reportedly in gear. After quickly blocking the car with his police vehicle, the officer entered the man’s vehicle and turned off the ignition. When he looked around the car, the officer allegedly found 12 empty wine bottles.
